      1. Actually, chb, a typical poll takes about 600 to 800 samples.  This is about four times the normal size.  I'd be interested in whether they are live calls or robocalls.  Robocalls– like Rasmussen–are crap  because of poor screening techniques.

    1. SC and their 63 delegates (54 pledged) is not …. well … it's not Fresno. It's probably not Bakersfield.

CA and it's 495 (416 pledged) is just a few days later (March 16).

If she gets more than 50% of the pledged delegates in the first two of three (IA, NH, SC ) she's gonna run the table)

  1. Pete Buttigieg announced fundraising for Q2.

    • first out, indicating a staff on top of things.
    • $24.8 million — that's a "Presidential" looking total he's got.
    • ~300,000 donors. He's enlarged his circle of friends.
    • Not out yet — but we should find out how many have maxed out their primary donation. With a $82 average on the quarter and a $47 average in the previous report, seems likely he'll be able to go back to his list again.

[had to edit — one article I read confused me, talking about Q2 money and Q1&Q2 donors..]

  2. Uhhh….#MAGA?  Nearly one-half of the entire CBP belong to this group.  As an aside I can't promote/sponsor hemp-based threads of Facebook because it violates their community standards.  <sigh>

Inside the Secret Border Patrol Facebook Group Where Agents Joke About Migrant Deaths and Post Sexist Memes

Members of a secret Facebook group for current and former Border Patrol agents joked about the deaths of migrants, discussed throwing burritos at Latino members of Congress visiting a detention facility in Texas on Monday and posted a vulgar illustration depicting Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez engaged in oral sex with a detained migrant, according to screenshots of their postings.

  3. people suck.
    Mean people suck even more.

This is bullshit -and a violation of the Hatch act.
Where I worked it would just be "conduct unbecoming" and the fix would be simple.

  4. Just a quick reminder from the New York Times to vet your sources before reposting sketchy or counter-intuitive "news" about the candidates.

A Trump campaign operative, working anonymously, created a website designed to look like an official campaign page for Joe Biden but filled with GIFs and text mocking the former vice president. More people have visited the fake site than Mr. Biden’s actual campaign page, according to organizations that track web traffic.

After the debates last week, some internet trolls, Trump supporters and far-right online figures tried to boost support in polls for marginal candidates, including Andrew Yang, Tulsi Gabbard, Bill de Blasio and Marianne Williamson.

A group of accounts last week promoted a tweet that falsely claimed Senator Kamala Harris was not a black American, an attack designed to divide black voters that evoked the smears against Mr. Obama. Some researchers hinted that it could have been the work of Twitter bots designed to spread misinformation. The tweet was eventually shared — and later deleted — by Donald Trump Jr., the president’s oldest son.
