Andrew and me and Andrew

Tonight I went to Las Animas to the annual Tri-County JFK Dinner. I brought along some of the 2D Politicians I made for our Prowers County Assembly Banquet as a donation for their Silent Auction. (I got new higher res shots of both Betsy Markey and Andrew Romanoff at the dinner, so I can make another set for us to display at future events.)

I’m a Bennetisa, but I am posting this pic to prove we can all get along, and even have fun doing it!

Andrew gave a good speech tonight, focusing on his strengths and accomplishments and his goals for the future. No ‘below the belt’ nonsense (and I am qualified to say that, because I was a certified tae kwon do tournament sparring ref back in the day). He couldn’t have been more circumspect and polite about the other donkey in the room if Bennet’s mom had been in the audience.

We Ds really are all on the same side in the long run. We should do our best to win our fights, but still be able to shake hands and walk away with mutual respect afterwards. I’m just sayin’.

    1. You have very quickly become the worst of the worst.  You have broken bridges that should have been kept strong…all because you can’t let people have their own opinions.

Your gall via your comment here is astounding.  Please do take your own advice.

      1. I’ve told the truth when my character, my candidates’ character, and my friends’ character have been attacked for being truthful.

I’m trying to be accomadating, but if posts like yours are an example, that won’t happen.

        1. You are entirely too thin-skinned to be of much help to your candidate.  Now I hear, via some comments on this site, that your candidate’s people think you’re going too far.

It’s one thing to support your candidate.  It’s quite another to have a complete meltdown whenever perceived weaknesses in your candidate’s message or stances are discussed.

I think the heat in this kitchen is too intense for you.

          1. They thought that I went to far when I offered to provide evidence that Mr.Romanoff has claimed to be a civil rights attorney and was  in a position to offer advice. He is not a licensed practicing attorney, and his civil rights history is thin. The vast majority of immigration rights activists back Bennet.

Andrew has not passed the bar, and the 2006 special session produced one of the harshest laws in the country. Those are facts.

I also post under my own name, which anyone in civil rights knows is essential.

So I’m not going to go in to how anonymous attacks mirror abuse. It does.Anyone that has lived among minorities knows this to be true. I suppose that you will be just another anonymous attacker.I’ve experienced many in life, and you are among the the least of my concerns.

For the record, Elvis Boling wanted to file a Supreme Court complaint against AR when I directed  him  to search for Andrew Romanoff on the Secretary of States site, and it became apparent that AR hasn’t passed the bar.  I discouraged him from doing so.

      2. He started it!

        No, she  did!

        No you did!

        You’re a butthead?

I know you are but what am I ?

        Mom!!

In a diary about partisan peace and friendship Ray makes one simple comment about getting along – conductrix flames on and we’re off to the partisan folly.

Mom doesn’t care who started it – stop, or there will be a consequence.

          1. This is the part where my mother, being the ninja that she is, will check her blind spot, reach around and give a solid smack across the face with a glare into the rear view mirror, all the while not careening off the road.

            You kids are so grounded.
