Legislation to crack down on interest rates charged by so-called “Payday Lenders” should see a vote in the State Senate any day now.
All Senate Republicans are likely ‘NO’ votes on Payday Lending Reform, but a couple of Democrats are also thought to be leaning towards nay, chief among them Sen. Mary Hodge (left) and Sen. Lois Tochtrop (right).
