After two years of investigation, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian interference in the 2016 election on behalf of Donald Trump is now complete. Mueller gave the full report as required to Attorney General William Barr, a Trump ally who then produced only a limited “summary” of findings that claims there is “evidence on both sides” of the question of obstruction of justice.

This is not acceptable. Americans need to know what is being covered up by the Trump administration. Action item #1 this week: contact your Senators and demand the release of the full Mueller report into the 2016 elections.

At the Colorado State Capitol in Denver, it’s another crazy week of really great stuff happening in the legislature despite Republicans doing everything they can to obstruct the new progressive majority. Key bills we’ve been telling you about for weeks are about to become law, from reforming the oil and gas industry to ending the terrible practice of so-called “conversion therapy” on children. Here are a few ways you can make a difference at the Capitol this week–either by showing up to testify or contacting lawmakers.

On Tuesday, SUPPORT House Bill 19-1248, the Lobbyist Transparency Act in the House State Affairs Committee. This bill requires paid lobbyists to disclose their activities and quickly update public registers when they get involved with legislation.

Also on Tuesday, SUPPORT House Bill 19-1236, the Workforce Diploma Pilot Program to incentivize student success in high school graduation and industry-specific training programs for qualified educational providers.

On Wednesday, an important health care bill is up for debate in the House Health and Insurance Committee. House Bill 19-1176, the Health Care Cost Savings Act, examines different methods of health coverage for the state including a public option.

Thanks as always for your help! Here are some more great events for the week of March 25:

Join us on March 31, Trans Day of Visibility, for a powerful event lifting up the trans community of Colorado. And that’s another busy but exciting week of actions! We’ll see you next Monday with more ways to make a difference.
