Most entertaining article about how Pelosi deals with the "revolt of the 16", aka Ed Perlmutter et al.
Nancy Pelosi Just Showed Us Why She’s the Democratic Leader
Looking forward to seeing if any of "a lot of great, diverse candidates from all across the caucus who would be fantastic as our next speaker," is willing to have their name put forward in the caucus meeting next week. And to measuring whether signing such a letter brings immediate "retaliation" in any meaningful sense. I'm betting that nothing happens prior to Pelosi deciding to find other ways to be busy and thus avoid raising money or campaigning for Ed in 2020.
So first Ed was going to retire, now he wants to be Speaker of, what, White Male Democrats?
On second glance, maybe the gang of sixteen was a 3-dimensional chess game designed to highlight Pelosi's political skills. We wouldn't want Nancy P getting soft by skating to success would we?
Hickenlooper asks Colorado’s top court to make decision on taxes that could help fire districts
It will be interesting to see if they answer, and what.

I think the expression is: "You can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs."
Let me recommend this next Sundays' U.S. Farm Report..I think Michael watches regularly.
It never fails to be enlightening about such matters.
Just saw on Yahoo News that the "American gene pool has been cleansed again (my wording, not Yahoo's)."
A young American Christian evangelist tried to preach the word of Jesus to the natives of North Sentinel Island in the Bay of Bengal. The natives killed him with bows and arrows. The Indian government has had the island off-limits for decades to protect the natives, who don't want visitors, from introduction of diseases for which they probably have no natural immunity. Sad that he is dead, but he did it to himself.
That's a Darwin Award nominee, for sure, CHB.
Third-time offender, enhanced sentencing. (Tasteless joke of the day)
Idiot had illegally visited twice before; first time run off with arrow shot; second time they broke his boat, this time they just killed him.
In the good old days we 'd line up the fleet and bombard the island with 14 and 16 inch shells until the bastards realized that Jesus loves them!
