We have one less serving in Afghanistan this week with the death of Army Ranger Christopher Celiz during combat operations. My cousin is a C-17 pilot with the Air Force and she had the somber honor of flying his remains home. RIP, Sergeant Celiz.
As rare as those deaths are, you would think the President and Vice President would make a point of honoring the dead in some evident way.
