  1. I don't know which is more disturbing:  the press conference in Helsinki or the apologists in the GOP.

Just saw John Kennedy, R-LA, interviewed on CNN. He buys the typo/grammar error explanation.

  2. "Oh where, oh where have our little trolls gone, oh where, oh where can they be?

With the stench of their boss filling up the whole place, to them it must smell like pee..!"

Hey there T***pians! Let's hear once again how each of you are not accomplices to treason. Are any of you seriously trying to peddle the bullshit story that you didn't see this coming? I am sure no one warned you…right?

Now is the time for you to abandon the Duper in Chief. Forget politics…stop this insane bastard now.

Even if he packs the Supreme court for you, do you think he won't disregard the court when it suits him? Are you unwilling to NOT be fools?
( Which is, by the way, a double negative…just saying)

    1. Really.  I wanted to talk to MAGAt-anus about his view as to why separating families and locking children in cages, and kowtowing to Vladimir Putin MAGAs.

  3. George Will, who advises voters to dump the GOP in November, has this to say about Benedict Donald's Traveling Horror Show:

Will also questioned whether Russia has something on Trump to "keep him compliant."

"Americans elected a president who — this is a safe surmise — knew that he had more to fear from making his tax returns public than from keeping them secret," Will writes. "The most innocent inference is that for decades he has depended on an American weakness, susceptibility to the tacky charisma of wealth, which would evaporate when his tax returns revealed that he has always lied about his wealth, too.

"A more ominous explanation might be that his redundantly demonstrated incompetence as a businessman tumbled him into unsavory financial dependencies on Russians. A still more sinister explanation might be that the Russians have something else, something worse, to keep him compliant."

    1. I don't understand how this SOB still has a career, and a leadership role in the NRA and Republican politics while Kathy Griffin and the Dixie Chicks are both seen as pariahs.

      1. The article talks about "about 1000" attending, with ticket prices at $60, $50 and $40. The venue [Berglund Center Performing Arts Theatre] seats 2,148, so a less-than half-full venue.

Revenue $50,000 (if we speculate on median price tickets). T-shirt and hat sales don't seem likely to add much. Minus hall rental, advertising, transportation & lodging rider, security and insurance.

Ted Nugent's "career" seems one step up from a vanity project.

    1. It currently has 20 troops serving in Afghanistan as part of the NATO-led training mission there

We have one less serving in Afghanistan this week with the death of Army Ranger Christopher Celiz during combat operations.  My cousin is a C-17 pilot with the Air Force and she had the somber honor of flying his remains home. RIP, Sergeant Celiz.

      1. As rare as those deaths are, you would think the President and Vice President would make a point of honoring the dead in some evident way.

Though it may not mean much to your cousin, this left-leaning & "saved by the end of the draft" near-conscientious objector who strongly opposes the continuation of our efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, deeply appreciates her service.

    2. Trivia thought for R & R and any others interested. What victorious country in World War I lost its independence as a result of the war.  Answer:  Montenegro.

        1. This time of year 104 years ago, World War I started with a bunch of idiots making really stupid decisions.

All things old are new again.
