Michigan Congressman Thaddeus McCotter (R) is the sponsor of HR-3501 the “H.A.P.P.Y. Act”.
If he hasn’t gotten you already with ‘Thaddeus’ or ‘Happy Act’, hold on. It gets better.
The “Humanity and Pets Partenered through the Years Act” would create a new tax deduction of up to $3,500 a year for pet expenses. Because, pets are life partners too.

And do the costs of attempting to eliminate them qualify under the bill?
