Now, I’m not delusional. I don’t expect this diary to be promoted but it should be. Since the Governor’s Co-Chief of Staff Jim (I should have been a) Carpenter is keen on lurking around the Pols site on the state’s dime, maybe he can respond. Given his deer-in-the-headlights performance on Channel 7, I imagine he’s itching to respond to Ferrugia’s 2×4 to the cheek.
Either way it’s clear that Bill Ritter allowed employees to be hired after instituting a “freeze.” Doesn’t look good, Governor Corzine Ritter.

I’ve gotta go with Ferrugia, but Hoover’s reporting of over 4,000 hires during the hiring freeze seems to be more realistic.

The bitch here is the new fees and taxes used to pay for these new hires. Had these new taxes and fees been left in The Taxpayers pockets the private sector would have saved jobs that already existed without government intervention.
Last, you gotta love the exposure of how the state works. In the video the Co-Chief claims that without the “hiring freeze”, they’d have hired even more people. Clearly there are no controls within the state to stop the state from spending.
Because it’s poorly written. From a stylistic viewpoint, you’ve made a major error in not including blockquotes from your links that highlight whatever point you’re trying to make. We shouldn’t have to actually click on the links and read the whole thing unless we want to.
Sorry, but that’s a fail. However, you can edit your own diary and put up those blockquotes – it doesn’t have to stay a bad diary.
The clever nickname and strikeout are all I need. I laughed! I cried! This diary is brilliant, in every little way.
Far Right.
