Ten years ago, this was a photo to end a political career–especially a Republican’s.
Today, it’s just Sen. Don Coram of Montrose in a marijuana bush.
What a time to be alive.

Hardly. I don't support marijuana but I'm not a state lawmaker. Coram has different responsibilities. And I doubt he's smoking it unlike most people on this blog.
And now John Boehner's dealing it.
Do you have the proof that Obama illegally obtained private voter data to win elections ISP boy?
W.T.F does that even mean, Nutlid?
"Smoking it." Sorry, autocorrect messed me up.
But John Boehner's dealing it.
…and I could name a few 'law and order' Republicans that have no problem' partaking'.
Boehner is talking about marijuana as medicine as an alternative to opioids. I don't necessarily agree but he's not hoping to get kids hooked on recreational pot.
Trying to rationalize?
BTW, what's wrong with legalizing pot for those over 21 like alcohol?
Let the invisible hand of the free market decide.
Whether you agree or not…those pesky facts regarding opiods v. marijuana will get in the way of your willful ignorance.
A (Senate) baby is born: The Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2018
This industry has a deep debt of gratitude to give Congressman Jared Polis (introducing the amendment for the 2014 Farm Bill, Section 7606) and Senator Michael Bennet (who fought to make sure the House amendment remained in the final report). Because of their actions and leadership, a pathway was created to build an industry.
Colorado is the #1 hemp production state in the nation.
Later today the Colorado legislature will start the process to establish the Centennial state as the hemp R&D 'center of the universe'.
These are very exciting times.
"Guess what I was smoking when I implied that if we hold Randy Baumgardner accountable for his ass-grabbing that his son would commit suicide." Hee hee. Funny stuff, right?" (at 3 hours 30 minutes into the video of testimony at Baumgardner's expulsion hearing)
Coram's exploitation of Baumgardner's 13 year old son to excuse inaction on Baumgardner's bullying of his colleagues is unexcusable.
Maybe the kid is not so distraught over bullying as embarrassed by dad's antics. BTW, is there a Mrs. Stache? If so, is she standing by her man?
Don's not here.
