After all, she “got her start” in his Congressional office. From yet another cryptic, hard to follow campaign e-mail, McScandal’s finance co-chair touts the endorsement:
Good Evening,
Our campaign is honored to have received the endorsement of former White House Press Secretary Dana Perino. As many of you know, Dana, after graduating from CSU- Pueblo, got her start in Washington working in Scott’s Congressional office.
Big picture, it’s nice to see that Mike Hesse isn’t the only former McInnis staffer endorsing the old (scandal plagued) boss. Reviewing the McInnis finance report vs. the Penry report, it looks like those who may know him best (the people who worked for him) are overwhelmingly breaking towards Penry. Having said that, at least he has Perino. That plus $1.50 will get him….? Cup of coffee? Mustache comb?
