“Tea partiers are also opposing GOP-backed Senate candidates in California, Colorado and Connecticut.”

This quote from Dick Armey is encouraging:
I assume this means they will be pressing for the Bush administration to answer for their butt-wiping of the constitution for eight years.
It’s still funny!
“And if there is a Dick Army, Barney Frank would want to join up,” says the guy who is 79 years old and never realized he could just go by “Richard” and not get laughed at.
Dick Armey is the King of Assholes.
McCain being forced from maverick, admired by indies and moderate Dems, to toeing the wacko party line and choosing Sarah Palin. Now we have tea-baggers out to strangle any attempt by the GOP to come back from the loony fringe. Life may be better for Dems in 2010 than anyone thought possible after all, even with lower turn out among younger and minority voters. Here’s hoping they really commit and run independent candidates where they can’t get their way in primaries. Go Armey, you big fun loving Dick.
The extreme right-wing of the GOP will never allow a comeback — because they’re still too concerned with ideology than reality. They’d rather have a true believer candidate with no shot at winning a general election than a moderate “sort-of-believer” who could actually beat the Democrat. Until Republicans fix this rift internally, Democrats will be fine.
I was an active Republican for decades and the last ten years were eye openers for me. The Republican Party, including the Colorado Republican Party, are landlocked by ironclad ideology that dictates and allows only very limited policy positions, including the fact that no candidate is legitimate who ever supported a tax increase or an initiative like Ref. C. No matter how conservative a candidate’s record has been, even one violation of ideology, makes a Republican ineligible to run for office. It is just plain nuts but it continues even today.
Really? Are you guys too old to check urbandictionary.com? A photo from last week’s gay rights march in D.C.:

for the last six months? It’s the Teabaggers who are too square to check the urban dictionary.
What gay men mean by teabagging and what right wing nuts mean are two very different things….
Gays are so much more clever than tea partiers.
