Yesterday I read with interest a story about the “Friends of McInnis Canyons” selling trees in an effort to raise money:
http://www.gjsentinel.com/hp/c…
I busted out my calculator and did some simple math. What if the good Congressman himself decided that restoring this area to its native habitat was a good idea? How many cottonwood trees could he buy with his massive PAC — you know, the one he promised to use to fund breast cancer research…?
Assuming the Congressman has about $700,000 left in his PAC account after illegally paying Mike Hesse, Sean Duffy, his wife, etc. I believe he could buy about 4,667 cottonwood trees.
Now THAT would be some serious habitat improvement.
