I just imagined Trump’s interior designer taking a whack at the oval office. I also just threw up a little bit in my mouth. You should sell that image as a diet plan, Ari. Visions of hideously gold-plated historic crown molding are dancing in my head, and I no longer desire lunch.
that Trump supposedly wants a $100 million ballroom in the White House. I didn’t pursue that one any further…
It reminds me of something I read in an interview John Waters gave in the 80s – somehow Ike Turner came up, and he related someone else’s observation that Ike was capable of spending $1 million at Woolworth’s. Apparently his taste was horrible, and the Donald’s is, too.
and he gotta be one of the best judges kitschy. Trump decorates like a colorblind circus clown with unlimited checking
pretty much says it all.
…Of PJ O’Rourke in the Atlantic describing one of Saddam’s palaces:
to protect the minority rights of flat earthers now? How about banning anything to do with the history of space exploration to protect the rights of the beleaguered minority who believe the moon landing was a fake? I’m going to demand no more high shelves in stores because they violate my rights as a member of the beleaguered minority of very short people. I thought the right was against all PC consideration for minorities.
