At Least it's Not Your State's Crazy Fringe Organization

Apparently the federal government completely over stepped their bounds and The Free State Project of New Hampshire doesn’t want to take it anymore.  It’s a tiny group so far, with a goal of 20,000 members within 10 years, but they have State Representative Dan Itse on their side.  According to him,

The federal government is assuming powers that weren’t delegated to it. It is already acting to destroy the economy of the United States. It is going to devalue our currency, it is further corrupting domestic policies of the states, motivating them to do things they would not do naturally, except for being bribed with the people’s money.

Hey!  Take your healthcare dollars elsewhere, Uncle Sam!  Don’t worry, that’s as crazy as it gets.  Or is it?

If anything is going to cause the dissolution of the United States, it’s the stimulus package and the excessive spending of the federal government.

That certainly explains Chuck Norris’ recent behavior, Texas is running from the stimulus.

My favorite member, Chris Lawless:

The federal government doesn’t follow its own rules. There are countless laws that break the constitution and yet they don’t seem to care that they’ve broken these laws. Obama hasn’t broken that many laws yet, but he is about to. Just because he is charismatic and well-spoken, that does not make a great leader, it makes great TV.

There you have it folks, Obama will destroy the country, possibly while breaking constitutional laws (if we last long enough), while we watch him being great on TV.  Be afraid, be very afraid.

Funniest part, I saw this on Russia Today.

  1. What laws? What evidence do they have? This is completely unreasonable. They offer insults and innuendo, but nothing more solid than the diarrhea spewing from their mouths.

They think the dissolution of the United States is inevitable? These must be the patriotic America First crowd that (still) Senator McCain spoke of during the campaign.
