I’ve found it to be worthless, but hey I’m way old. But what’s interesting is my daughters also find it uninteresting.
I’m not trying to shoot down Pols – if 10% of the people here use it it’s a great new feature. I’m just curious about how widespread use is.
I installed it on my blog. I use it occasionally when I’m not around a computer.
I think it has a lot of potential from a political organizing perspective or for activists.
I cannot find the utility of making sure the world is aware of what I am doing at this very moment. To be truthful, the more these social networking sites evolve; the more I feel like a tin-foil hat wearing, Orwell-espousing, 9/11 Truther.
Then again, I’ve been told that I’m just a treehugger that wants everyone to live in caves.

The advantage is that tech-savy people who get Twitter can be counted on to communicate their problems to the rep quickly and completely. Folks who don’t understand how to read a bank statement or can’t figure out the cable remote probably are not going to use it.
