The Denver Post Endorses Mark Udall for U.S. Senate

( – promoted by Colorado Pols)

From the Denver Post, Udall is best for Colorado

Udall has a proven track record of bipartisan accomplishments and, we think, would best guide Colorado as it prepares to be a leader in the new (and old) energy economy.

Udall worked recently with conservative stalwart Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave to stop the Army’s proposed expansion of the Piñon Canon Maneuver Site. He worked with her again to designate 249,339 acres of wilderness area in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Udall is a dedicated environmentalist, but not an extremist. He’s moderated his views in recent years as he prepared to run for the Senate.

This is one of many more to come. Udall has also been endorsed by The Aspen Times.

If you’d like to congratulate the campaign on their recent endorsement, head on over to MarkUdall.com to contribute and sign up to volunteer for Udall for Senate.

  1. Denver Post endorsements:

    Centrist=good.

    Whoever is most centrist = good.

    They better be centrists in office.

    Ideology=bad.

    I mean, fine, schaffer is more conservative than Udall is liberal perhaps, but that doesn’t automatically make Udall a better candidate.

    Of course I support Udall, but Denver Post endorsements are pretty dumb.  See Marilyn Musgrave’s endorsement (guess what, shes more of a centrist now!  and we couldn’t endorse all Democrats so let’s do her!)

    Yay. Moderate.  Centrist.  Our only criteria.
