Did Hillary really just say that?

In another installment of the “what the H is she thinking?” or “how much more desperate can she get?” primary news, Hillary Clinton raised Bobby Kennedy’s assassination as a reason to keep running her primary campaign (AP story link):

“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. You know I just, I don’t understand it,” she said, dismissing the idea of dropping out.

So you’re still running because Barack might still get assassinated?  Nice work.

  1. Not only is she wrong about her husband winning the nomination in June (it was April), but WTF does Bobby Kennedy’s assassination have to do with anything?

  2. she knows she stepped in it and she looked genuinely sorry.

This might be the final straw for her run.

It might be enough to create an excuse to keep her off.

  3. Even she cannot sink lower than this. No one could or ever has. No one.

Her meaning is crystal clear: Maybe Obama will be assassinated and I’ll still be in the race. There is NO OTHER INTERPRETATION POSSIBLE.

Her subsequent apology, back-rowing, whatever, should have been delivered as she packed her bags to leave the country with a one-way ticket to the furthest outreaches of the Outer Slobovian Desert. “Bobby Kennedy’s seat” indeed. She holds no such thing.

Pure naked ambition–no pantsuit to hide the double-width ass, no screen to keep flies out of the gaping mouth. Unforgivable. She knew exactly what she said, she meant exactly what she said. Her apology was merely an “oops.” She should have formally confirmed her resignation from the human race. I am quivering with outrage.

  4. Does she know that there will be a serious hit on Obama?

I am not saying she would or Bill would actually plan something like that or would they….

OK, I am not a crazy person who believes in conspiracy theories.  But some of this stuff makes you go “Hmmmmmmmm!”
