What is Hillary thinking

Before anyone accuses me of hyperbole–read the article.

http://www.politico.com/news/s…

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign intends to go after delegates whom Barack Obama has already won in the caucuses and primaries if she needs them to win the nomination.

This strategy was confirmed to me by a high-ranking Clinton official on Monday. And I am not talking about superdelegates, those 795 party big shots who are not pledged to anybody. I am talking about getting pledged delegates to switch sides.

Hillary Clinton will do anything to win: up to and including destroying the party by contravening the will of the people.  If she wins the nomination through theese means: the Democratic party will be the Whigs of the 21st century.

  1. Clinton’s campaign has vigorously denied it, and the original story by Roger Simon is anonymously sourced and pretty thin.

I’m not a fan of Hillary Clinton, but I think this would engender enough backlash that it’s unlikely her campaign is actually doing this.

    1. do you mean Senior campaign spokesman Phil Singer?

Clinton spokesman Phil Singer told me Monday he assumes the Obama campaign is going after delegates pledged to Clinton, though a senior Obama aide told me he knew of no such strategy.

And to say “it’s unlikely her campaign is actually doing this” is not something I’m going to believe after all the other underhanded tactics the Clinton campaign has rolled out so far. It’s more of the say and do anything to win campaign.

        1. The Delegate Hub to rename the Super delegates as “Automatic delegates.”

My favorite is FACT from the Hillary spin room is:

FACT: Florida and Michigan should count, both in the interest of fundamental fairness and honoring the spirit of the Democrats’ 50-state strategy.

Not only is sying something “should” be one way or another sounds more like preference than FACT, but it’s laughable they are making the argument from the 50-state strategy angle, which is exactly why Hillary lost this campaign! She had a 50+1 strategy, not a 50 state.

          1. Didn’t Hillary already agree to the delegates from FL, MI not being seated, as well as pledge to not campaign there ?  This is what I remember hearing.  If so, does she think it fair to change the rules halfway through the game ?

            Just curious.

  2. After Hillary’s last youtube Hillary and the Band youtube hit flopped since youth voters don’t take lightly to pandering, the Clinton campaign decided to just give up trying to be original and to go ahead and “borrow” Obama’s message (again).

    Yes We Will

PS. Don’t tell Obama that Hillary is plagiarizing his slogans. Oops I mean she only using him as a ghostwriter.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign is not only villifying Obama’s ability to inspire voters, it’s also villifying Obama supporters as people who are just not smart enough to choose the right candidate. Her campaign hasn’t changed their message from Hillary being the inevitable nominee or calling Democrats who don’t vote for Hillary has insiginificant, second-class citizens who do not matter, it’s only now using a new word to make the same insult, one that Carville is probably responsible for; Stupid.
