There's that smell again, Beauprez now blogging.

Both Ways Bob apparently felt he hadn’t embarrassed himself enough in last years gubernatorial election.  He’s decided to write a blog, A Line Of Sight.

This entry really caught my eye. It’s entitled,“Tip of the Hat To Tom Delay.” No word on whether or not Bob is tipping his infamous black hat.

We haven’t see all that much of the former Republican Majority Leader, Tom DeLay,

No Bob, we sure haven’t. Wonder why that might be? Could it be his criminal indictment in Texas? The conviction of his buddy Jack Abramoff? His role as the architect on the infamous “K Street Project”? His craven role in the Schiavo fiasco? Or possibly the fact that his party, so thoroughly corrupted and discredited under years of his rule, suffered a crushing defeat in the 2006 elections? Take your pick Bob, anyone could be the reason we haven’t seen much of Tom DeLay lately.

Apparently Tom DeLay was on the Today Show and so thoroughly trashed Matt Lauer that Bob thought he’d bog about it. 3 weeks after the fact.

DeLay took Lauer to the woodshed for the blatantly biased reporting of political scandals by the mainstream media hacks like Lauer.

He did Bob? What did he say? Also, Matt Lauer he isn’t exactly Mike Wallace is he? I mean how hard is it to take Matt Lauer “to the woodshed”?

Explaining the difference between how the parties deal with errant members, DeLay said “The difference, Matt, is that Democrats re-elect theirs, and Republicans kick ’em out.”

Examples?

Tom had two. Just two.

William Jefferson, who was inexplicably re-elected despite being found with $90,000 in cash in his freezer.

Hey, that’s democracy. Crazy things can happen. For instance flip-flopping, out-of-touch sitting Republican U.S. Congressmen can run the worst campaign in a generation and lose by 16 points in a red state.

DeLay also cited Alan B. Mollohan, Congressman from West Virginia. The last news story I can find about the investigation into Mollohan’s earmarks is from April of 2006.

Never mind the fact that Speaker Pelosi booted Jefferson from the House Ways & Means committee and Mollohan was booted from the Ethics committee. These two examples are proof that Democrats are not serious about cleaning up their party. At least not as serious as Both Ways Bob.

We Republicans have had our problems, and they have been dealt with. Within 48 hours, A Line of Sight said Craig needed to go.

That’s impressive Bob. When did Line of Sight call for Duke Cunningham’s resignation? Bob Ney’s? Tom DeLay’s? David Vitter? Ted Stevens? John Doolittle? Dusty Foggo? Jim Gibbons? Ken Calvert? Lisa Murkowski? Scooter Libby?

Those are just examples from the last year and limited to national figures. We could go into the dealings of the Ohio GOP, the Kentucky GOP and the Alaska GOP. We could discuss Newt Gingrich since he’s hinting that he might run for president. We could look at the indicted finance chair’s from Mitt Romney’s current campaign. How about the state party chair of the Guilliani campaign in South Carolina or the first Republican gay bathroom sex scandal of the summer from Florida? What about Ted Haggard? How about Bill Janklow? He only killed a guy on a motorcycle, where were you on that one Congressman? Or Michael Flory, former head of the Michigan Federation of Young Republicans, who brutally sexually assaulted a woman?

What about rigging the House ethics committee and House ethics rules to protect Tom DeLay? Is that how Republican’s “deal with” their problems?

What about illegally accessing an FBI database for partisan use in a gubernatorial election? How did you deal with that one Bob?

The point here Bob is not that any one party is inherently more corrupt than any other. The point is that at this point in history your party is exponentially more corrupt than the Democratic Party. Sure William Jefferson shouldn’t have been re-elected but perhaps you and Mr. DeLay should spend sometime removing the logs from your own eyes before sanctimoniously pointing out the splinter in ours.

It’s almost as if Both Ways Bob learned nothing in his drubbing last year.

Give it a rest Bob, the people of Colorado spoke last November and overwhelmingly they decided not to buy the manure you are shoveling.

      1. Sorry, I added one too many embedded links on Beauprez. I should have left that up to you. However, I did find this for you. If Bob would have consulted CREW, he could have listed a few more D’s to blast in his blog (which is read by 4 people). http://www.beyonddel

    1. ….that photo taken by the Montrose local newspaper photographer of Both Ways talking and pointing his hands in opposite directions at the same time?
Another memorable moment from the ’06 campaign!

  1. This has been my favorite polster-authored blog since ColoPols started allowing us to post our own threads. What a joke BWB is. I guess he’s doing this to stay in the public light a little, maybe so he can run for Senate against Ken Salazar in 2010…

  2. Everytime I looked at Bob and the horse I started laughing. Almost made up for that tasered kid.

That video ad was not only bad, but deceitful.  A dairy farmer on a horse in a cowboy hat? No wonder he looked awkward on the horse. He was probably glad when they said, “Cut!”

  3. Using the handle “Bribe Beauprez”:

Of course, “Both-Ways Bob” would praise Tom “Fore” DeLay. Bob took a $20,000+ bribe from a Russian mobster, and has been bought and paid for by corrupt defense contractors. Bribery is what Bob has always been about!

If our media had been on the ball, Bob would have been crucified along with his pals Jack Abramoff, Troy Eid (an associate of Abramoff, who participated in the lobbying scheme, and who was installed as the local US Attorney), and the rest of the slimy contractors Bob ROUTINELY oozes under the door with.

I’m surprised Polsters haven’t made him turn off his comments section by now.  Shame on you! 🙂

      1. is so completely ironic. It’s supposed to be a free exchange of ideas and information, unless, of course, we don’t like what you say.

“Hi, I’m Bob Beauprez, here’s what I think”
“What about you ?” “Come on in and join the discussion”
“I think you suck, and here’s why”
        (Last message deleted)

    1. Sore loser Bob keeps the laugh coming. He’s in the “anti-math” group of republicans who think revenue tax income is a “tax-increase” on the backs of Coloradoans!  Perhaps he should have studied something other than PE while in School. http://blog.bobbeaup
