Of all people, Lyndon LaRouche has been way out in front on this little scam: http://www.larouchep…. So-called “vulture funds” buy up the debt of dying Third World countries for pennies on the dollar and, when the U.S. forgives the debt, sue for the face value. In short, aid we send in the form of debt relief effectively ends up in the vultures’ pockets. Thus in effect, the human carrion behind these investments is literally taking money from dying children.

Well, if anything really sleazy happens in this world, you can rest assured that it somehow filters through the hands of the Bush Family Crime Syndicate. Greg Palast followed the trail of breadcrumbs (a by-product of the Gonzales scandal), which unsurprisingly points to Li’l Bush but also, to Rudy Guiliani. Palast walks you through the process in an interview with Randi Rhodes:
