  1. Votersunite.org has a detailed tally of 233 voter snafus, some major, some minor.  They are not in state order, but you can sort at the top.  I think there are nine in Colorado.  They do call Denver as part of Adams county, but otherwise, the points seem accurate.

      1. When you contract with an inept company that can’t even get a correct bar code on the ballots, that is not a reflection on the mail ballot system.  That is an error so low on the system that it should have no more occurred than Sequoia mailing them to the wrong city.

I don’t know if they do it in Oregon, but there is no reason to not run the ballots through the machines as they come in. Then, at 7PM on election day, they run the last few percent and voila!  All done by 7:30 or something.

      2. Mail ballot and optical counting technology is so old and primitive that a state could develop their own system and keep the profit motive out of it all, to say nothing of total control.

Give me a month and I could have prototype counter and open source software up and running.  And I ain’t no genius, just a good ole American/Yanke tinkerer all my life.

  2. The Denver Post tally has Ludwig ahead by 3300 votes.
Any idea how Ludwig gained so much and Gordon so little in post-election counting? If, it were a few thousand vote margin I doubt Gordon concedes. Gordon was not much further behind than Ludwig on election night.

  3. Keep in mind this only from one vote center in Denver, but it happened to be located in Gordon’s Senate district. In this center Ludwig was doing better in his race than Gordon was in his. So it does not surprise me that Ludwig is doing better citywide than Gordon.

  4. Gordon concedes saying he is down more votes than there are votes left to count. Denver Post now has Gordon down 28,000 and Ludwig up 3300.
Does anyone have current numbers and/or an explanation of how Ludwig made up so many votes while Gordon essentially stayed where he was on election night? Ludwig did slightly better than Gordon in Denver but slightly worse in Pueblo.
There was no place that he did much better or worse than Gordon. Did AP talk Gordon into conceding when there were still votes to count? Is Ludwig’s count off somehow? Keeps us bloggers talking anyway

  5. The work is legion…but I won’t say it’s ard as the crybaby George has claimed. It’s actually exciting. We’re taking our country back…..the Consitution and the Bill of Rights included!
