A lack of historic knowlege at this site.

It amazes me what people call liberalism and conservativism these days.
I was refamiliarizing myself with G. W. Bush’s (the 41st) rise to power and was remembering that this guy is from the Eastern ‘Liberal’ Establishment.
http://www.tarpley.net/bushb.htm

I still get a laugh out of these so called conservatives worshiping Eastern ‘Liberal’ Establishment types like Bush.

Conversely it amazes me what Liberals, progressives call liberalism.

The American founding fathers were considered ‘liberal’ thinkers of their day.  Liberals.  Yet the American founders were what Liberals would call today conservative.

Bush is from a family heritage of extreem liberalism that dates back to the East Indies Company.  Those nice ‘ultra-liberals’ who brought black slavery to the Americas.  It is no surprise to me now that the democratic party has taken controll they will only continue the neo-con ‘ultra-liberal’ agenda.  They will happily continuing the North American Union reintroducing slavery to America.  They will continue the ultra-liberal suspension Hebus Corpus and the end of Magana Carta something the old ulra-liberal free trade crowd, who our founders went to war against could only dream of.

The establishemnt has done a wonderful job of dumbing down both the so-called Conservatives and the so-called Liberals.  Both will ultimately fight for the single cause of the establishment itself at their own expense.

Amazing

  1. I thought anyone that studied American history or world history for five seconds understood that words change meaning with time. Of course the modern day usage of liberalism is not the same as it was hundreds of years ago. A more recent example? How about the Republican and Democratic parties? Do you really think they are the same parties they were 100 years ago? So are people wrong or stupid for calling themselves Democrats when they believe in the same principles the Republicans did in the time of Lincoln?

No. Most people understand that the meaning of words can change with the usage. While maybe a few people have a lack of historic knowledge, you apparantly have a lack of social knowledge.

    1. Obviously YOU learned nothing of history…

History is full examples where people of civilizations FORGOT examples made by others before them.  Usually in the form of mistakes.

This is probably because they chose to change the meaning of words such as Danger / Warning to conform to something that would make them ‘feel’ better about those words, thus losing their TRUE meaning.

  2. I thought maybe this would be a well reasoned piece, give you a chance.  No, you just throw words around without meaning.

There is no connection of the Bush/Walker clan that I know of with the East India Company. Where’d you get this, Freepers?

    Slave traders liberal?

GW liberal easterner?  He was raised in godawful west TX and his whole life after a couple of years old was there. Now, his FATHER was east, but certainly no liberal after he climbed into bed with the Birchers to win Repub chairmanship in Houston.

The founding fathers were liberal but really conservative?  Oh yes, most revolutionaries are conservative, aren’t they?

It’s the Libs suspending Habeus Corpus?  What are you smoking, dude? Look who voted for that bill.  Overwhelmingly Republicans of the most right wing kind.

You remind me of trying to have a conversation with someone with Alzheimer’s.  And I know, I’ve a lot of experience with them.

    1. I find it funny you gave ME a ‘chance’.  What such honor.  You’re so noble.

      Gibberish? You would know.

Did you know Old Man Bush got Jr the hell out of Texas almost the day he could walk?  Probably not. Your lack of education speaks volumes.  Bush was out of Texas long before he attended the Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts.  Then he later, of course went on to Yale which is in the North Eastern U.S. Sorry he was NOT raised in Texas.  He was living in the North East being groomed to be a politician in Texas.  The guy has a hollywood set for a ranch in TX that serves as a backdrop for photo ops.  That’s about as Texas as it gets for ‘cowboy’ Bush who is scared of Horses.

As far as this families ties to the Easten Liberal Establishment… Both of you wise folks who commented should research Bush and the Avril Harriman Family.  Trace that family back to Adam Smith’s East / West indies companies.  The so-called Free Traders (and their pholosophies) and maybe both of you would learn what many of us already know.  Oh yes,  and who ‘owned the monopoly’ on the slave trade.
