  1. It looks like the U.S. Senate will be about 50/50.  The swing is going to be Joe (DINO) Lieberman (I-CT).  I think Bill and Hil at least tried to keep good relations.  Wait; what’s that smacking sound?  Could it be (D) lips to (I) a**?

  2. For all the buzz and attention given to Jay Fawcett – another fine candidate and honorable veteran – Bill Winter overcame some early miscues to post a very creditable showing against Tom Tancredo. Winter did about as well against Tancredo – an incumbent Congressman with huge name recognition – as Fawcett did against Lamborn, who wasn’t an incumbent and is nowhere near as glib and polished as Tom.

    Winter can and should be proud of his accomplishment, especially since the data show that CD-6 is just about as solidly Republican as CD-5. Well done, sir!
