The 2006 election hasn’t arrived yet, but we’re already seeing early signs of movement for 2008. State School Board Member Jared Polis sent out an e-mail over the weekened about the launch of his Web site, JaredPolis.com, which is a fairly obvious first step towards running for congress in CD-2 when Mark Udall steps aside to run for the U.S. Senate.

Both Joan Fitz-Gerald and Jared Polis have done good things; I’d hate to have to choose between them even as a regular constituent, but as a local party person, I’ll definitely be staying neutral through that debate.
Is responsible for Amendment 41. Plenty of reason for me to oppose him.
played out on an episode of Will and Grace a few years back. I will be supporting Jared through the primary as he would be the first “out when elected” gay man in congress (Tammy Baldwin is the first out when elected lesbian in congress). They are both fantastic on issues, and I’ll support Joan if she wins the primary, but gotta stick with “family” on this one.
gets National recognition, Pelosi lets him get some victories to impress the local district, and in 18 months he’s the front runner for the US Senate (Hey, if you’re going to predict – go WAY OUT on a limb!)
