I am beyond not surprised at anything Trump says.
What does continue to baffle me are that there are so many people who are willing to vote for this guy for any office, especially for US President. I just can't understand that and it continues to surprise me.

I was under the impression that while the Trump campaign did not direct or specifically ask for help from Russia the Trump campaign benefited and knew about the interference.
It's been proven rather convincingly that Trump's campaign did not actively direct Russian interference but to say Trump's campaign has no involvement with Russian interference is flat out wrong.

You forget Trump's public request to the Russians to help "find" Hillary's emails. Shortly thereafter, the Russians began their hacking attacks against the DNC.
That effort was observed in real time by Dutch intelligence since they had hacked into one of the Russian hacking outfits. The Dutch had even hacked the surveillance camera outside the hackers' office, in an office building in Moscow. They observed all sorts of interesting personalities visiting, but not Putin.
The crime boss didn't direct or specifically ask for help (except for that whole "find the emails" statement ).
One of his fixers probably didn't direct or ask for specific help. But others — a campaign chair, a long-time political ally and personal lawyer, foreign policy advisors, fundraisers, donors, and personal connections (including at least one son) had avenues and took actions that sure LOOKED like they were working with Russians or their extensions.

Collusion is defined as: secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy, especially in order to cheat or deceive others.(Collusion is technically not a crime)
It's very apparent that collusion existed between the Trump campaign and Russia.
The Barr DOJ chose not to pursue conspiracy or other criminal charges against Trump.
Trump repeatedly brandished "there was no collusion" as a badge of honor.
