But, as memory serves, it’s a repeat. No?
But you’re right, we appear to have used this quote on January 4th, 2011.
It’s one of our favorites so we’ll leave it up. Have you always had a photographic memory?
That’s why I recognized it. 🙂
Hi Duke,
Your signature made me think of the following.
“The modern liberal is engaged in one of mans’ oldest exercises in moral philosophy, that is the search for a superior moral justification for theft.” Anon
The original is apparently from John Kenneth Galbraith:
I don’t remember Nock. Did he show up while I was out?
No credibility for you until you respond to my question on the “Trayvon Martin Was Lynched” diary.
I’m still waiting for your answer.
As far as I’m concerned, without a full-fledged mea culpa and repudiation of his earlier opinions, his credibility is in ashes.
It appears the offending comment was removed.

Not “TM was lynched”
your definition of what “it” is that liberals are stealing?
from the Soros machine and the Guvs can’t come up with fresh quotes?
Its that lavish lifestyle you lead, like a GSA employee on ‘assignment.’
If you know someone who saves the world using a headset, a radio and a bank of computers this is the week to send them your thanks.
It’s easy to take 9-1-1 operators for granted, because we’re always here.
The Peoples Budget:
http://cpc.grijalva.house.gov/…
Compare this to the Ryan Plan.
Of course, this phrase could be used for any number of state legislatures this year, but for today’s entry we go to the state of Tennessee, where senators have just approved perhaps the nation’s strictest abstinence-only sex education bill.
Provisions not found in other states? Teachers going beyond the allowed curriculum in the bill would be targets of legal action by parents who object, and, more importantly, holding hands would be considered a “gateway sexual activity”. You know, kind of like marijuana is a “gateway drug”, but worse.
So no more joining hands in a circle and singing Kumbayah, folks – it’s the first step towards mass orgies.
So what’s next? Burkas? (please make appropriate gender substitution based on your specific interests.)
But this actually makes the teaching of holding hands a potential legal action. No joke.
How Computers Are Creating a Second Economy Without Workers
now?
He might seem slow, but by GOP standards he catches on pretty quickly.
🙂
but only now is there NEW LINGO for it. “The Second Economy.” Buy the book! It’s totally different from “Software Eats Economy” or whatever the term from two months ago was.
Check with SXP, he tracks all my comments 🙂
I post it repeatedly because I don’t see the government doing anything to address the system unemployment I think we’re going to see not only continue, but get worse.

While most Democrats plan to vote for Obama in November, they continue to tell pollsters they’re “undecided” just for the fun of messing with the president’s head.

Frothy’s former sugar daddy inserted his bank account into his mouth again today on the sparsely viewed Fox Business Network.
The Vietnam era evangelical republican draftdodger turned conservative grey panther toughguy inexplicably said that now that mittens and frothy are joined together post primary and “have trained their barrels on President Obama, I hope his teleprompters are bullet proof”.
Of course, no “fair minded conservative” is going to consider a thinly veiled threat on the life of the President of the United States nearly as outrageous and unacceptable as Hilary Rosen hurting Mrs. Mittens’ feelings.
But that’s a conservative for ya.
I would like to see the Secret Service interview the Vietnam era coward Friess to get a better feel as to whether he’s a threat.
Just to be sure.

Matt Taibbi: Why Obama’s JOBS Act Couldn’t Suck Worse
Bennet is the guy everyone says you have a problem with, right?
But does that mean Matt Taibbi’s criticism of the bill is invalid?
We’ll have to wait and see how it plays out. I think it will probably lead to widespread fraud. Taibbi is certain it will. Senator Bennet took the lead on getting it passed assuring us the amendments he got added will prevent fraud. Time will tell.
He is credited as the lead Senator who got it over the final hurdles to pass in the Senate so he is tied to it.
‘specially if he’s deliverin’ me some fresh Taibbi.
Thankx.
It’s been known since Tony K exposed it, AdamsCo has a series of massive government corruption scandals.. Well today the corrupt small business manager who was enticed into whoring out his workers to win no bid government contracts got 13 years … hard time.
libertad asks, what about all the corrupt government officials that were on the take? When will they be convicted and sentenced?

They’re probably next in line. Prosecutors often go after these things in some kind of order rather than taking on everything at once.
