Today is World Standards Day (International)
Does the Day celebrate measurements? Or national flags? Or well-known music?
And what are you and anyone else noting the Day doing to celebrate World Standards Day?
No, it's National Dessert Day. I can play, too.

In more relevant news, the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB), a D.C. think tank, came up with a list of what could be in the $1.5 trillion Build Back Better plan and how to pay for it. Saw it on Yahoo News yesterday. Looked reasonable.
Don't ask me about the CRFB. I'd not heard of them before yesterday and haven't checked their website.
They are the Very Serious People such as Erskine Bowles and Alan Simpson.
Also, Wikipedia says that their revenue was $1,109,159 and their expenses were $3,227,336. Make of that what you will.
