From Colorado Confidential:
The Perlmutter campaign claims that the Bushell Insurance Agency sent out a mailing with a State Farm Insurance logo to policy holders asking them to attend the fundraiser. The company used corporate resources such as staff time and equipment to create the mailing. O’Donnell solicited campaign contributions at the event itself, which drew some 70 people, continues the charges, which the Perlmutter campaign plans use as the basis of a formal complaint with the U.S. Federal Election Commission (FEC).
There are some campaign finance violations that are relatively minor, and others that appear sketchy but are probably just a legal loophole. This is neither. O’Donnell could be in for a spanking from the FEC, because this certainly appears to be a very clear violation of the law.

Have gotten away with this behavior for so long, thanks to a compliant (liberal!) press that they are brazen in their attempts to extend their “pass”. Stop them. Vote democratic.
Like having a Federal appointed official advertised on your fundraiser of industry execs that he regulates?
Are Republicans just desperate? Is there a reason why they seem impatient to shoot themselves (or their friends) in the face? We need to open a hospital for GOP self-inflicted injuries.
A while back I was told of a road side attraction that was essentially a self ass kicking mechnical device. It worked so that when you turned a crank a boot would swing around and kick you in the ass. It seems like this group of republicans are having a good ‘ol time taking turns with their new toy.
The realy fun part is that they keep turning the crank then getting kicked in the ass, but not realizing that there is a connection between the two so they just keep doing it over and over again. All the while they go on and on blaming the pain on the “liberal” media and the animal lovers.
it just becomes harder and harder to defend people for doing stupid things.
Kinda reminds me of Tip O’Neill when he had a conversation with Jimmy Carter’s Chief of Staff… “I know you folks didn’t do that on purpose, your too stupid for that.”
Seems like some people just like ti imitate others. No matter what they do, or how much sense it makes.
Remember…Never be surprised what stupid people in large groups can do.
“Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.”
