Every mobster needs a nickname.
Fat Donnie.
What do you think?
Too direct? Maybe , OBC Donnie? Or…Donnie Fats? …Donnie Dumpling?
Donnie Fats works well . . .
Donnie Fatso ?
you pick…they all work.
Donnie shitstains. Stains for short
Donnie "The Spur"
There was Jimmy and Tommy and me. And there was Anthony Stabile. Frankie Carbone. And then there was Mo Black's brother, Fat Andy, and his guys, Frankie the Wop and Freddy No Nose. And then there was Pete the Killer, who was Sally Balls' brother. Then you had Nickey Eyes and Mikey Francese.
And Fat Donnie Two-Times, who got that nickname because he said everything twice.
Gotta go back to when he would have first gotten his name … the 80s.
The Guardian ran a story pointing to Trump building when concrete in NY was well controlled:
Removing confederate general names from military bases is a good idea.
the history lesson doomed to repeat bs is stoopid.
We are not going to name a base after Kim Jong anything
Nor any other foreign leader.
This guy gets it right (finally)
https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/06/take-confederate-names-off-our-army-bases/612832/
But why stop at bases?
Isn't there a high school in Weld county that still calls themselves the Johnny Reb Losers? They fly confederate battle flags and dress some poor kid up as a confederate soldier?
Also – Breckenridge.
I know – but we spell it different – but that guy was a Confederate General. And a lawyer.
You got to change the name. How about Breck? Or Brick?
Berserkenridge…I used to live there.
Not too berserk these days except for the visitors who refuse to wear masks and physically distance.
Right…things were different in the late 70s. We had pet names for all of them
…Skistoned, Trailerthorne, Freakshow, …"Somewhat" county had 'em all.
Generalissimo Bone Spurs is really, really pissed he can't crush this flower of freedom
Somewhere a group of Cliven Bundy types are planning an unauthorized incursion into the CHAZ by a self appointed, T***p encouraged militia. Bill Barr seems a likely source for extra-judicial command and control. I hope I am wrong. But I hope those in Seattle are prepared for such an eventuality.
I've had to use a Cliven Bundy reference twice this week to my D-stan friends who have taken it upon themselves to elevate their blood pressure over the Seattle event.
And just how did he get a gun?
Moreover, CA has had a red flag law on the books since last year.
The father, who slept with a gun at the ready for fear that he'd be attacked, could have applied for it.
Oh Noes! Twitter is cutting off Trump's daily intelligence briefings!
WAPO "Ranking Committee" veers away from President and Vice President speculation, looking at Senate seats likely to flip. And Cory is #3 !! after the tie between McSally and Jones. Most positive comment from any of the rankers: Charles Lane, saying "If some Republicans and independents cross over to vote against Trump in the fall, some may try to compensate by voting for a Republican in a Senate race. In extremely close states such as Maine and Colorado, where the Republican is more moderate than Trump, that could influence the outcome."
Wash post muses that Hick’s ethics problems may give Romo a chance to upset him, but goes on to note Romo lost two “statewide” races after leaving legislature.
Not true. He did lose a statewide senate primary to bennet. But his 2016 loss to Mike Coffman was in the 6th CD, which is only one of seven house districts.
Either Romo or Hick probably will beat Gardner, whose lips have been superglued to Trump’s butt.
Romo will need money, though. Buckets of it, and he's not known as a stellar fundraiser. Gardner's gotta go.
