  1. Buckle up for an incredible day for politics (Tuesday voting), health (Coronavirus) and economy (stock, bond and oil market crashes)

It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine….

  2. Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground

    Same as it ever was
    Same as it ever was
    Same as it ever was
    Same as it ever was
    Same as it ever was
    Same as it ever was
    Same as it ever was
    Same as it ever was

  3. I’d like to see physical evidence that millions of test kits are being shipped today as claimed by Pence, et al.  Shouldn’t there be video of massive warehouses and hundreds of FedEx trucks mobilizing for this effort?

  4. Kashoggi
    McGhan
Ted Cruz "self quarantine" (not representing his constituents – it's what they get for electing a Canadian)
Cancelled events  (NBA no fans or media access, Indian Wells Tennis  – cancelled, etc)

      1. Prepared?

        Are we talking about

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses level of preperation?
        Cause I got that

        1. Prepared?

Well, I haven’t yet bought that case of Jim Bakker’s silver miracle cure, but I’m thinking about it . . .

. . . Ok, I know the stuff won’t actually work — but in my neighborhood we’ve got enough ignorant Republicans that I’m pretty certain I can ride out the apocalypse, and still make a pretty good living, selling it by the shot.

  5. Most amusing moment of my morning … the Whitest House Social Media Director tweeting out a picture of Trump playing the violin and the lettering

“My next piece is called,” the meme said in bold white letters, “nothing can stop what’s coming.”

On Sunday night, after a weekend of two rounds of golf, Trump retweeted. “Who knows what this means, but it sounds good to me!”

Apparently, neither stopped to think of the immediate mind's connection of Nero fiddling — and neither objected to or modified the the line, which is “a popular phrase linked to the far-right online conspiracy theory QAnon,"

    1. We can safely place that poll on the Pay-No-Mind List, as it comes from the same newspaper and polling outfit that had Clinton winning the 2016 Michigan primary by 25 points (Sanders won narrowly). However, other polls from outfits having a modicum of credibility also have Biden with a significant lead in MI.

  6. Taxpayer bailout Funded Socialism
    aka

    Socilized losess, privatized gains

"Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is looking into options for possible targeted tax relief as a response to the coronavirus, a spokesman for the senator said Monday."

"White House National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow said Friday that the administration was considering targeted relief to affected workers and businesses."

    1. Professor Grassley’s Miracle Tax-Cut Cure All . . .

      Diogenesdemar says:

      March 2, 2020 at 9:19 AM MST

Yep.  If Reverend Pence doesn’t get this thing sufficiently miracled in another week or two, the ultra-wealthy in this country are desperately gonna’ need another yuge emergency tax cut . . .

      . . . The only 100%-guaranteed, 100%-proven-effective, fix for whatever’s ailin’ Donnie Ttump’s re-election chances ya’!”

    2. ". . . considering targeted relief to affected workers and businesses."

"Targeted" – that probaby comes with a loyalty test AND extra points if your last name is Trump.

  7. ¡Mira! El Socialismo

Gov. Cuomo announced today that New York State is producing hand sanitizer. The governor says it is cheaper to make ourselves than purchase it. He says they will give it to schools, jails, government agencies, etc. If price gouging continues, Cuomo says they will start selling it pic.twitter.com/NtLSU54Km5

Capitalists for life, until the shit hits their fan.

  8. Study: Bots Are Fueling Online Climate Science Denialism

A quarter of all tweets about the climate crisis are written by bots, and the majority of computer-generated posts on the issue are geared to deny climate science.

Let’s don’t forget who funded a massive effort to deny science claims to climate change – and who signed The Pledge to make sure his personal koch supply didn’t run dry.
