  1. smh

There are not 10 republicans who will admit publicly how wrong the president was and is.  It's a disappointment on a Constitutional level.

"If you can keep it" indeed.

    1. This is where and when the non-T***p Republicans need to step up and put pressure on their congressional connections. This is the opportunity they have to "get their party back" (which is bad grammar, but a worthy goal.)

There are so many who SAY that. How many will have the courage to act? Let's hope, in the coming days, the nation will find its bearing and discard the politics of hate once and for all.

      1. I'm afraid I'm not very hopeful. They've dug their hole, they continue to dig, and we're very likely to be stuck with the Orange Flusher for 13 months more, barring some unforeseen disaster. He will be emboldened, Putin will be emboldened, and the interference with our 2020 election will be far more than in 2016 (I predict not only voter registration databases will be messed with, but also voting results). THIS is what the #GOP will rain down on our heads. It's tragic.

        1. Voter rolls interference

It happened in Colorado years ago – and nothing happened to anyone involved.
It happened in several states in 2016 and several more in 2018.

Voting results are always suspect in some areas – Florida and Wisconsin come to mind. And, of course, Michigan in 2016. Heck, the president claimed that millions of illegal votes were cast in 2016. Millions. But apparently no one could figure out how to stop it or protect our elections next time so no laws were needed.

  2. As hard as it is to wrap my head around Trump's appeal to a certain percentage of Americans, I have come to conclude he is the seething Id of the nation.

[Trump] is the Rorschach test of truth, the guidepost by which people choose their story line. Most Americans tell pollsters that they do not believe what he says, but a significant minority considers him a truth-teller in a broader sense, saying out loud what others will not about a broken system he vows to fix, even if he does not hew to particular facts.

And in some ways, his what-you-see-is-what-you-get approach makes him more transparent about his motives and feelings than any president in generations. Rather than hide his more base reactions and ambitions, however raw and unseemly, he flaunts them and invites his supporters to share them.

With the help of social media, friendly news outlets and congressional Republicans willing to follow his lead, he crafts a message that finds its audience.

  3. I see. Apparently, the chess game has moved to the 8th dimension.

    1. I would like to see the House vote on both USMCA and the impeachment articles on the same day.

Set aside 4 hours for floor debate on the impeachment articles and 2 hours on USMCA.

Let Nancy show the world the House can walk and chew gum at the same time!

  4. It is a fact that the Federal government is corrupt and can not be trusted in any function whatsoever. The recent report on Afganistán reveals that the public has been lied to once again. Just as Vietnam, so has Afganistán been a waste of time treasure and human lives. If you believe the proposition that we must fight “them” over there or we will fight “them” here is a total fabrication and fear mongering. It is time we bring our troops home from shit-hole countries.

    1. Kinda makes Americans wonder why Bush and Erik Prince bothered to got to Afghanistan at all. Bush/Rove/Cheney lied to get Congress to agree to invade Iraq.

Then was sort of embarrassed into an afterthought. Maybe Prince could describe where all the money went.

    1. Everyone knows Conman Cory's just a shill for the Screaming Yam but does every Democrat in the state and their idiot brother have to run for his seat? Aren't there any others to try for?
I worry that with this crowded a primary, we'll end up with the lowest common denominator on the November 2020 ballot.

        1. I know that V, but we might wind up with the weakest candidate who barely makes it out of the assembly. We need a strong Democrat with a solid platform to take out the Conman.

          1. We will end up with a candidate who won two terms as mayor and two as governor.  Or, possibly, a former speaker of the House with a great record on education and other issues.  I can live with either one.  Everybody else is an asterisk.

    1. Mr. Knucklehead strikes again.

It is almost insulting how you take us for such fools. Naturalnews is one of the most egregious of the phony, anti-science websites around.

Use the google and the condemnation of Mike Adams is almost universal. I think they really like him over at Breitbart, though.

      1. lol

Adams got his start selling Y2K scams in the late 1990s and has since elevated fleecing conspiracy-minded rubes to an art form. If memory serves, he's Entry No. 1 in the Encyclopedia of American Loons. Personally, I doubt that he actually believes much if any of the bugfuck insane drivel he espouses, but he definitely knows his target audience and how to separate them from their income.
