Is Crank in the only candidate in CD5 who knows what he is talking about?
http://www.gazette.com/display.php?id=1318119&table=story_archive&sec=2
Actually Josh, Didn’t Crank plagiarize most of his issue statements from other politicians on his website and then have to pull them?
Maybe its the other politicians that Crank plagiarized who know what they’re talking about.
If were heading-off al-Qaida, then shouldn’t we attack here too? And if Iraq had no WMD and no threat, then why are we not attacking here?
Islamic militia says it captured Somalia capital
U.S. officials claim groups are sheltering three al-Qaida leaders

(AP) MOGADISHU, Somalia – An Islamic militia said Monday it has seized Somalia’s capital after weeks of bloody fighting and 15 years of anarchy in this Horn of Africa nation, raising fears that the nation could fall under the sway of al-Qaida.
The militia appeared in control of Mogadishu. Most of the leaders of a secular alliance that opposed them — and was rumored to be backed by the United States — appeared to have fled the city by Monday afternoon.
The Canadians capture 17 suspected in Toronto (and tell us there are more they are working on capturing) while we build a three-layer fence along the MEXICAN border. (And let’s not forget the 19 hijackers on 9/11 crossed the Canadian, not Mexican, border.)
There are WMD in Iran but Bush invades Iraq…..It’s like we almost get it right each time, but not quite…..
MyPetGoat —
I agree with your statement above. It is almost like we wanted a regime change in Iran, but we decide to go after someone else to get what we wanted. We did not capture Bin Laden, but we go after Saddam? We say we want “democracy” in Iraq, but now we are finding out that the new Iraqi government will not allow us to use their country as a staging platform for an attack into Iran?
We just seem to do everything backwards. And worse, we are not building any fence along the Canadian border, even though we know that all the 911 terrorists came from Saudi and Pakistan, through Cananda?
Are the Bush Administration folks on drugs, or are the simply the most stupid people we have ever known?
We may as well face it, we have a lot of pathetic ignorant digbats in Washington right now..
We need to protect our northern borders from the Canadians they are steeling good jobs from hardworking American hockey players. Not to mention our pharmaceuticals at a cheap price.
Anyone know who Rettew is in HD 13? Never heard of him/her.
anyone else notice bill ritter’s campaign video is a lot like an episode of “cops”: a doofus driving around trying to explain himself while a cameraman tries to catch it all on tape.
Parrot, please keep posting. I really enjoy your posts on this forum. They’re the funniest things going.
“Pathetic ignorant dingbats” are not confined to Washington.
The rumor is Sally Martin, former campaign manager for Milt Rogers for CU Regent (who barely had any support at all) TURNED DOWN Bill Winter’s offer for campaign manager. Seems odd to not take that jump. What is going on in WinterLand?
Wow…big shots down in CD6
You must not have been home when Jim Rettew came by if you live in HD13; I think he’s been to every house in the district at least once, and to most events in all three counties. His website gives a good bio.
Both of our HD-13 candidates are good this year. Claire Levy’s been up in my neck of the woods almost as much as Jim has, and she started a bit later than he did… They’re both candidates that I think will represent the district’s interests well.
Clueless in Washington. The Republican leadership are drinking something, or smoking something….both hopefully illegal. (the many freedoms others hate us for.)
On a surprise visit at President Bush’s request, House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) flew into Baghdad at 4 a.m. Friday and immediately remarked on how many lights he saw burning in the Iraqi capital.
The speaker and his party saw it as a sign of progress, of how much power had been restored in a city known for frequent blackouts, according to Hastert’s spokesman, Ron Bonjean, who accompanied the speaker.
“It was one of our first impressions, so many lights shining brightly,” Bonjean said.
Hastert must have toured Baghdad at just the right time because Baghdad residents still have an average of just four hours of electricity per day. The pre-war level for Baghdad? 16-24 hours per day.
Hold the Republican majority accountable and send them back to their day jobs. They were comedians before taking public office I presume!
VOTE THE REPUBLICANS OUT OF OFFICE IN 2006. THEY’RE WAY TOO DANGEROUS TO ALLOW IN POSITIONS OF POWER.
Agreed Sir Robin … agreed. The Democrats will become the tilt to the normal … the wise, the humane, the honest and “where the HELL is Bin Laden?”
Yeah………the tilt to the normal … the wise, the humane,………
you forgot taxation orgy…….
Hey, Sir Robin, how much does moveon.org pay you to repeat that all over the blogosphere?
