    3. Half of America is listening.  The other half sits around in the local coffee shop wearing their silly red hats and (still) referring to the previous POTUS as 'that n****** in the White House.  They listen (and swallow hook, line and sinker) the free market bullshit espoused by their state and federal reps.  They fight mandates the would force the necessary changes to the system to meet new consumer demand while being fisted by Adam Smith.   Rural America has met its enemy – and it's not who they think it is.  Given my work over the last two Farm Bills I can say with certainty that Land O' Lakes hands aren't clean on this issue. 

      What we need as a new, New Deal; in this case more Democratic Socialism, not less.

      Roughly one in three rural Americans, and one in four farmers, are without broadband access, cutting them off from services like telemedicine and educational tools. Many parents have to drive to the local McDonald’s so their kids can get Internet access to finish homework. Rural America faces a shortage of doctors—more than 100 rural hospitals have closed since 2010—even as they endure the regular dangers of farm life and the rolling tragedy of an opioid crisis. “Three in four farmers and farm workers (74%) are or have been directly impacted by opioid abuse, either by knowing someone, having a family member addicted, having taken an illegal opioid or having dealt with addiction themselves,” according to a survey from the American Farm Bureau Federation.

      1. Rising to the bait sometimes proves irresistible. Warren, my favorite among the Dem candidates, fucked up in a big way by taking the Dumpster's "Pocahontas" bait. Here's hoping that occurred early enough in the cycle that it doesn't do any lasting damage.

      1. Former Sen. Craig was a REAL Republican, soliciting gay sex in public bathrooms. This Parker fellow was apparently directing his "activities" toward a member of the opposite sex. Total RINO.

    The first group of 10 appearing on Wednesday, June 26: Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas, Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, former Rep. John Delaney of Maryland, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, former Housing Secretary Julian Castro, Rep. Tim Ryan of Ohio, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Washington Gov. Jay Inslee.

    The second group of 10 appearing on Thursday, June 27 are: Sen. Kamala Harris, former Vice President Joe Biden, South Bend, Indiana Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Sen. Michael Bennet of Colorado, author Marianne Williamson, Rep. Eric Swalwell of California, and entrepreneur Andrew Yang and Gov. John Hickenlooper of Colorado.

      Kinda gotta admire someone who figured out how to make bank on the Dunning-Kruger effect years before the term "Dunning-Kruger effect" existed, but still … a televised presidential debate?

    2. Random draw manages

      • a 3-3 split of women running (so obviously, a 7-7 split of males, too)
      • a skew of polling results, with the "top tier" dropping into the second group.  
      • an immediate conspiracy theory, with instant claims of "rigged by the DNC/MSM;"
      • speculation of who would "attack" Warren in the first group; who would "attack" Biden or Sanders in the second group; and finally,
      • if Biden & Hickenlooper would work out a tag-team routine for the bout.

        As for "random draws," to hell with that. This should be like seating arrangements at a wedding reception where you want live entertainment and place those who get along the worst with one another at the same table.

          1. If I had knowledge of scanning, I'd upload the true flag that Trump is loyal to: the flag of the Russian Republic.

            Follow the money, which one won't necessarily find in the Mueller report. How many hundreds of millions of dollars in loans has the Trump Organization obtained from Russian interests? In 2013, Eric Trump was publicly quoted: "we get all the money we need from Russia."

              1. If only these cities would accept rubles for services rendered?  You see, when it's simply tradition that you pay these bills without an invoice and not the law, #LittleDonnyBoneSpurs just has to parrot his favorite troll: Fuck off, sore losers!!

      The Donald’s grandfather (the guy who fled Bavaria to avoid military service, then made his fortune operating whorehouses in the northwest) was a German immigrant named Frederick Drumpf who emigrated to the U.S. in 1885 and became a naturalized citizen in 1892.

      At some point, he started calling himself “Frederick Trump,” but it is unclear if he ever changed his name officially. Some have speculated that he didn’t want to be known as “Drumpf” because of prevailing prejudice against Germans (which would heighten, of course, during World War I).

    The new details about the NRA’s finances come as the organization, a key ally of President Trump, faces pressure on multiple fronts, including an investigation by the New York attorney general.

    The Church of the NRA depends on the tens of thousands of Americans that are sacrificed on the altar of guns each year.
