“We are not here to curse the darkness, but to light the candle that can guide us through that darkness to a safe and sane future.”

Morning.
Ken Starr was on C-SPAN this morning whining on behalf of Kavanaugh, man-splaining why you can't always believe accusers. Yes, the same Ken Starr who was forced out at Baylor for not properly addressing a major sex assault scandal.
Well, fair is fair. Nobody believed Starr when he accused Hillary.
Morning has broken, like the first morning.
And Trump is stinking, like the first turd.
Praise for birds singing,
Gag at Trump’s stinking.
Resistance is growing, all over the world.
Don't mess with the sacred texts, V…
Yea verily, I say unto you: Trump stinks!
For you, V. You’re welcome…
It is important to know who pays for what…
A series of ads are running on broadcast channels extolling the greatness of T***p and thanking him for making us great again.
It is paid for by a family of billionaires from Chicago whose PAC is called 45Committee. Expect more…much more.
Oops …..the Ricketts family out of Wyoming controls that PAC.
Why are out-of-state interlopers from Wyoming trying to impose their Trumpy values on everyone else? And trying to tarnish the good name of Chicago while doing it?
They probably were able to fund the ads from the rounding error in their tax cuts.
I just saw that. Ick!
Jared Polis announced several policy proposals regarding improving Colorado's healthcare system, including, according to the Denver Post the "ultimate goal" of single-payer. This really pissed off Stumbleton's Spox Jerrod Dobkin, who demanded full details now!
Really, I mean how can you have an ultimate goal if you haven't already written in stone every little detail beforehand? Jeez, Jared, get on it will you?
In the same article, Stumbleton's team announced they plan to announce their plan for healthcare tomorrow.
A quick summary:
If you are already f*cked, you'll stay f*cked.
If you aren't f*cked yet, just wait, we'll get to you soon…
Colorado media outlets are thrilled with any boost to their advertising revenues and Democratic leaders have to like the assessment. According to Washington Post [my emphasis],
And the upstart Colorado Sun came up with this little nugget:
Hick does whimsy — and builds in a possible promo link to his newish book — “Opposite of Woe.”
"Giddy Up" ? .. for reals?
Excuse me…gotta go be sick…
Heard the speech far too many times.
Also in today's CPR Colorado Matters conversation with the governor, apparently; they had excerpts on yesterday.
It is a boomlet … Hick gets The Atlantic, too
Colorado’s Charismatic Governor Is Pondering a Run for President
If you find yourself downtown on Friday and have a yearning for a
MAGANAFTA burger, stop by!Are they free? At pre-end of NAFTA prices? Pay only the extra costs of the new expected tariffs?
And will there be a veggie option featuring American plant protein and Mexican (or even better, New Mexican) green chiles?
NO means NO, even if she said yes in this case… my brain is forever despoiled for this image.
Kansas GOP Stalwart picks Democrat Laura Kelly over Kris Kobach
Things are getting scary up in Frackistan: https://www.denverpost.com/2018/09/18/rebecca-cranston-truck-shot-larimer-county/
And today, we learn that it resembles a toadstool……….

Now that upset my stomach.
I know, right?
Kind of a case where any information at all is too much information.
