I think the way to facilitate leave-taking is for Democrats to win the House and exercise their authority to get the income tax records. Then, threaten to take them public unless there is a resignation. Bargaining ensues and "the art of the deal" is able to get himself a free train ticket and agreement to not take away his pension.
He pardons Ivanka (and maybe Jared), himself (can't trust Pence after that Ford fiasco), and the others he can recall by name off the top of his head. Leaves a forwarding address and rushes back to a nearby golf course.
