on the bathroom thing. Ya know that “bathroom bill” nonsense? Wasn’t that Dobson’s creation? I think you have have to drive to a neighboring state for that one. Raton isn’t that far away.
So, basically, he was AGAINST John McCain before he was FOR John McCain…. hmmmm…. shades of John Kerry!
Seems so long ago now. dobson hit the right notes after 9/11, using panic and hysteria to further the old hate and intolerance message, delivering for “w”, making himself a boatload of cash for a long period. (the tried and true faith based windfall). But I’ve lived long enough to see charlatans of his ilk “rise from the ashes” before. His relevance may be marginalized right now, but he’s still powerful enough to reemerge. He just needs a new angle. The 71 year old presumptive nominee, suddenly ” seeking counsel from the good doctor”, “seeing the light”, and “coming back to the flock” just might be it, for both dobson AND mccain.
…to sit on the oversight committee named to babysit for Ted Haggard during his restoration to whatever he was restored to, Dobson took a pass on the invitation and said he was too busy to serve.
the demise of Dobson’s influence reinforces my belief that there is a god.
…….that Dobson has God-like qualities?
