From the Boulder Daily Camera
Wish I could have been there – sounds like it was good:
The three Democrats vying for Mark Udall’s 2nd Congressional District seat played it nice in a debate Friday, focusing largely on the environment, a “broken” Washington and the war in Iraq.
Joan Fitz-Gerald, Jared Polis and Will Shafroth each presented their case as candidates to a nearly full Boulder City Council chambers, in what some audience members described as a “clean” and “issued-oriented” forum. There was no name-calling, jabs or calling-out – just the issues.
The bottom line? All three are really good candidates. (I missed this as I’m in Hawaii but they also had an Online debate – Q & A here.)
