We've updated The Big Line after some big news yesterday.
With Owen Hill dropping out of the U.S. Senate race, we've adjusted the odds for the Senate Line to reflect a General Election matchup (sorry, Moustache). Sen. Mark Udall remains the clear favorite here, particularly with polls now confirming that Gardner has very low name ID; Gardner isn't polling much better than former Senate candidate Ken Buck.
We've also made significant changes to the Governor Line after a new poll showed all of the Republican candidates fading. Gov. John Hickenlooper now has a double-digit lead on all of the Republican candidates, which is a trend we would not be surprised to see continue.

Pols, In CD-4 you still have BJ Nikkel as a candidate. She declared she was not running a week ago. Here is a link :

Whoops — forgot that
James Carville had something interesting to say in The Hill yesterday:
"(I)f the political conditions don’t improve we will be doomed anyways."

I spent nearly the entirety of last year inside the DC bubble focused on industrial hemp / Schedule 1 issues. I find the talking heads in DC practically worthless. They make their money on ginning up controversary and selling all of us the shit sandwich that (for example) certain state races are "close", when they are in fact, not. They desperately need to sell us the uninformed public there is something to anticipate. Find the 1 horror story about (fill in the blank) while there are thousands, under the same scenario, being helped.
Now that I'm entrenched back in the state and effectively cleansed from that hogwash, it's hard to watch any of it – or even read links about the latest prediction by (fill in the blank).
The Colorado races will be uniquely Colorado, just like they will be in all other states. It's all about the narrative from our current elected leadership – whether that be about health care, the environment, ending prohibition or our (growing) rural and urban poverty.
I'm personally confident that those who step to the plate and staunchly defend what a majority of Coloradan's support (on any particular issue) will find their political future secure. But in the meatime, get prepared to be offered a lot of shit sandwiches.
Looking pretty good for Dems overall, especially Romanoff, Udall and Hick.
Keep 'em flying, boys and girls! Take the war straight to the idiot enemy!
If I click on "The Big Line", I get comments going all the way back to last summer. If I click on comments, I get the comments from today. Is this the way it should be? Just asking.
