Gutless Senate Republicans today approved the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, the latest blind acquiescence to the whims of President Donald Trump.

Clockwise from top left: Pam Bondi (AG); Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. (HHS); Tulsi Gabbard (DNI); Kash Patel (FBI); Kristi Noem (DHS); Pete Hegseth (SecDef).
Trump has made plenty of, um, questionable choices for top posts in his administration. Many of these choices will likely prove hazardous to the health of Americans for different reasons? But which selection is the most concerning? Like a bowl of potato chips, it’s impossible to pick just one.
So, naturally, we thought we’d ask our readers: Which Trump nominee looms as the most frightening for whatever reason? A majority of Trump’s top-level choices have been approved by the Senate, so this is no longer a theoretical question (Kash Patel, Trump’s pick for FBI Director, has not yet been approved by the full Senate but is moving inexorably down the board).
