MALFUNCTION, CO-Patriots from near and far will gather in Grand Junction at the end of the month to learn about the coming End of Times or the Obama/UN Takeover, whichever happens first (if not simultaneously).
Former Republican congressman and current ‘Man on a Mission’ (don’t worry if you don’t know, it’s Top Secret), Tom “I am not really a Border Patrol agent, I just like the hat” Tancredo will give the keynote.
And no, this isn’t snark. Although it is a Gary Harmon article, from the GJ Sentinel:
An event billed as a constitutional convention will be in Grand Junction late this month, attracting among others, former Republican Tom Tancredo, who was invited to deliver the keynote before he changed parties and launched his bid for governor.
The convention is meant to be apocalyptic apolitical. The article reads:
John Michael Chambers, the organizer for the “Save America Constitutional Convention” and a former Grand Junction resident, said the Aug. 28 event is intended to stress the constitution, not current politics and in particular not Tancredo’s bid for governor.
“It’s not a Democrat or Republican political-type event,” Chambers said. “It’s something everyone can rally around.”
“A majority, if not all the presenters are more red than blue,” Chambers acknowledged, but the goal of the event is to encourage people to “restore constitutional government at the local, state and national levels.”
The conference … is to educate participants about the constitutional government “so that people will know what freedoms they are losing,” Chambers said.
A comment left in the thread following the article fills in many of the details left out by Mr. Harmon, who was probably retyping the news release while listening to the Glenn Beck show on his earbuds. He may have neglected to turn over a stone or two.

A little investigation (as usual, not done by the Sentinel) reveals that the group putting on this event, the “Save American Foundation,” is practically an apocalyptic cult. John Michael Chambers, who incorporated and founded the Save America Foundation, believes the United States is being overtaken by a “New World Order” perpetrated by “elitists.” On the Save America Foundation’s Web site, he writes:
“The New World Order is not a conspiracy theorists’ fantasy but rather a cold hard realty and it is here and present every second of every day in our lives.
…We are witnessing not only the transformation of America but also the transformation of life for all of us on this planet.”
…The speakers he is bringing in for the event are similarly apocalyptic. The Citizens’ Alliance for Responsible Energy (CARE), for example… CARE claims the pursuit of solar and wind power “will end the America we know and love.”
…Too bad the Sentinel failed to research this group adequately to give readers a more thorough and accurate picture of the organizers, and what people may be able to expect at the event.
The commenter is not exaggerating:
So who is behind the transformation of America, this globalization? That’s an easy one. This has been long in the making and the architects of chaos are no longer hiding behind the proverbial wizard of oz curtain.
It’s the Bilderberg Group. The Global Elitists, The New World Order. The New World Order is not a conspiracy theorists fantasy but rather a cold hard realty and it is here and present every second of every day in our lives.
It does seem like someone in the media should be asking some questions, like what is gubinatorial candidate Tom Tancredo doing talking to this bunch? And now that he has declared, can it really be ‘nonpartisan’?
Just to be safe, they better at least invite the survivor of the McM(a)ess, if not that bicycle-lovin’ tool of the UN hisself.
