In yet another sign that the apocalypse may soon be upon us, the GOP leadership has formed and officially registered “The Tea Party Caucus.”

The founder and chair? Not a difficult guess — Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.

And, good news, as stated by Ms. Bachmann during yesterday’s press announcement — this will be a “bipartisan” organization.
Among the current 28 bipartisan members — congressional heavy hitters, and brave patriots all — Colorado’s Congressman Doug Lamborn.

Nothing (yet) on the Lamborn website (that I could find) about this latest proud legislative accomplishment. (Maybe he’s waiting for Michele to finish with the crayons.)
UPDATE:
Congresswoman Bachmann is now reporting to have 37 members of the Tea Party Caucus. One of the newest being Colorado Congressman Mike Coffman.

I guess this means six more weeks of winter.
