This is a bit of self-promotion, but i’m looking for some great new sources and i think some of you are candidates… i’ve been writing for PoliticsDaily.com, an Aol.com news site, about Colorado politics as well as other issues. You can see my latest on the GOP Senate primary here.
A couple of years ago in the Rocky Mountain News, Jason Salzman wrote a column about how political reporters use the same sources over and over. i’ll confess, i’m guilty of that. i think folks like Katy Atkinson, Eric Sondermann and others offer good insights with a sense of context and give great quotes. But it was also refreshing to talk with Lesley Hollywood of the Northern Colorado Tea Party – i’ll be calling her again!
Here’s where you come in. Would you like to be a source/analyst for me in the future? (Using your real name, of course!) If so, e-mail me at sandrafish (at)politicsdaily.com with your e-mail, name and best number/time to reach you.
thanks for your help!
