Adieu to Sharon Adams

I have not posted on Colorado Pols for at least a year, but was very saddened to hear that tonight, Sharon Adams passed away after a short battle with liver cancer.

So many good things can be said about this El Paso County Republican.  She was fiesty, but was always your friend.  Party always came first for her — caucuses in the Spring, the EPCRW picnic in the summer, the 4th of July parade, the El Paso County Fair, the Labor Day parade and Fountain festivities.  She always expressed her opinion but was always thoughtful enough to ask about you — how were you really doing.  Her thoughts, love and generousity always came from the heart.  Sharon, the Democrats in heaven had better watch out, because you are there to organize the Republicans and keep them in line.  My sympathies and prayers are with your family and your many close friends.
