Slinking Sherman Slithers in the Senate Shadows

National, regional and local press have not yet covered, in a meaningful way, the secret vote in the U.S. Senate to confirm Harris Sherman as the new anti-business Czar in the Obama administration.

A host of U.S. Senators are rumored to have had concern about Sherman’s alleged pay-to-play schemes when lording over Colorado’s Department of Natural Resources. These allegations would have made confirmation difficult and embarrassing. As a result, Harris needed to do little more than slink like Gollum in the shadows of the Senate to receive confirmation.
