I believe the Bible is the inspired word of GOD and that His son Jesus was crucified, and rose on the third day and sets at the right hand of GOD.
My belief in GOD does not preclude that others may choose a different faith or a different God. Free and peaceful worship is an American ideal that has benefited the world and is ingrained in our society as the First Amendment to the U. S. Constitution.

Let me lay a few letters on you: OMFG, are we going to go through the entire alphabet with you? Please, just say no.
A is for Arrogance. B is for Bible thumper. C is for Cynically supporting a predator liar and cheater as President, while pretending it is AOK with Evangelicals. (that's E). F I'll leave to your imagination.
Sooooo….since you're trying to be in the position to make these kinds of decisions….
What is your position on a "religious test" for immigrants? Should non-Christians (Jews, atheists, agnostics, Muslims) be considered as of lower "merit" than Christians in Trump's "merit-based" immigration system?
Even though most of the violent attacks and mass shootings in the US in the last five years have been committed by citizens who are presumably Christians (at least, not identified with any other religion)?
Congratulations Jane . . .
. . . you pass the constitution’s religious test requirement for qualification for public office!
”B” is for bigot.
Who set Him at the right hand of God?
"the Bible is the inspired word of God………" If that's the case, where are the Gospels of James, Mary Magdalene, Judas, and Thomas? Were those books not also god-inspired?
The Bible represents hearsay passed along to the umpteenth degree.
And "P" is for pedophile……
So your belief in "GOD does not preclude that others may choose a different faith or a different God." I appreciate your tolerance of others who believe otherwise.
Sadly many of the others in your political party believe differently. Take Roy Moore for instance. He believes that his version of theology is the only true version, to wit: Roy's Rock placed in the lobby of the state supreme court building.
And while we are on the subject of Roy Moore, Roger, do tell us: Do you believe it is appropriate for a 32-year old man to date a 14-year old girl?
And if it is not, do you think Alabama Republican voters should put the safety of children over party affiliation and vote for Doug Jones?
Just curious … if the Bible is the inspired word of GOD, are the creation accounts in Genesis literal or figurative? If literal, what do you do with contradictions (plants before or after humans in Genesis 1 & 2)?
Perhaps most importantly — does the Bible provide guidance for individual action and salvation OR does the Bible provide guidance for building the Kingdom, including having the government held responsible for care of children and widows, welcoming strangers (aliens), and proclaiming Jubilee years when debts are cancelled?
Scholars who have analyzed the writing styles in the Book of Isaiah think the book had at least 5 different authors. Wonder how Roger feels about that?
Can you just jump ahead to "Z"
You're welcome to borrow my copy if it helps.
I'm running because I still want to remind children to brush their teeth so the Easter Bunny visits them! It will be the basis of my policy prescriptions.
Some may think there is not enough to that to form the basis for rational, relevant policy in a complex 21st Century state, but I assure you there is indeed a lengthy canon that I can draw from. Just Google "best easter bunny books" by way of example.
And very little rape, pillage, and mayhem.
Pat, I'll spin the wheel then take an "S": Separation of Church and State.
