  1. Left with blood on their hands

OK for lefty comedienne to hold chopped off head of the President?  Free Speech.

OK for lefty theater company to have Trump look alike stabbed as part of Shakespeare play?  Free Speech.

Lefty leaning nut thinks it is OK to open fire on Members of Congress playing baseball.

    Seems rather foreseeable to me.

The so called Resistance seems like a bunch of thugs who should be prosecuted as the criminals that they are.

    1. Whatever Cornholio.  Where were you when righties were lynching Obama in effigy?  Or when your anti- planned parenthood rhetoric induced Robert Dear to kill 3 people at a clinic? Or when Dylan Roof the right wing findy white suprwmacist killed 5 black people at a church in South Carolina?  Don't even start your right wing victim shit.

        1. In a moment of horror, Pear reacted like the experienced, compassionate  and decent man he is.   Carnholio seized a Goebbels- like opportunity to use violence to stir up hatred for political advantage.

Thanks for showing your true colors, Goebbels boy.   We expected nothing better.

    2. Leave it to Andrew to politicize the moment before there are any facts.

From a tweet by David Frum:

      Virginia:
      No background checks
      No licensing
      No registration
No permit req’d for concealed carry of long guns
Open carry long guns & handguns

Maybe Andrew is rethinking his knee jerk rejection of reasonable gun regulations.

Nope not a chance.  It's all the fault of liberals.

      1. 66 year old Bernie Sanders supporter who was from Illinois suburb of St. Louis.

Moved to Va. about 2 months ago.

Anti-Trump left winger who targeted Republicans.

        Part of the "Resistance".

People who directly and indirectly urged people to kill Republicans are in part to blame. Person who pulled trigger is directly to blame. If gun laws were the answer, Chicago would be safe and it is not.

        1. So another whack job (regardless of political persuasion) got a gun because you support whack jobs having full, unfettered 2nd Amendment Rights too.

Shed some more crocodile tears Gerbils, it makes you sound so credible…

          1. The kids killed at Columbine and the folks at the Aurora theater were powerless to enact reasonable gun safety measures.  Ironically,  Scalise is not so powerless.

        2. It looks like those lefties have burned the Reichstag.  Carnholio urges liberals, democrats, be outlawed and sent to concentration camps.  Any criticism of der Trumper punishable by death.  Cancel all elections, rule by decree.  This is our opportunity to make America great again.

          1. Unfortunately you hit pretty close to the mark (pun intended) here Voyageur.  Andrew is going to want to confiscate guns from all liberals now.

        3. Who could have imagined that mentally unstable liberals would also own guns.

Wait until the Senate passes their piece of shit Trumpcare bill.  They are going to have to have armed guards everywhere they go including the bathroom to protect themselves from dads with terminally ill kids who will be cut off from health care.

Things are going to get real dangerous for all politicians Andrew.  Do you still want to have unlimited guns for every crazy person in America?

      2. GG:

David Frum, like you, don't know your ass from your elbow about Virginia gun law.

        Background checks are required.

How exactly do you conceal carry a long gun?

We don't know if he brought the gun with him from Illinois and we don't know based on his criminal past if he was a convicted felon in possession.

        Nice try.

        1. Still waiting for your answer about right wing violent actions and rhetoric Carnholio.  Since you took the opportunity to grandstand on this incident.

    3. Perhaps it's not most useful to take advice about this subject from someone who was perfectly OK posting a photo of someone having his head sawed off.

  2. Religious right preachers have been peddling hateful rhetoric for decades. And assisted by their paid entertainers like Breitbart, Levin, InfoWars, Hannity, Limbaugh. Funny that Andrew doesn't have any accounting for that, but now blames a left wing loner.

    1. My fear CB is the escalation of an "If you shoot my politician then I'm going to shoot your politician" tit-for-tat exchange by the fringe extremists.  What would really help would be if everyone dials back the we/they it's us against them rhetoric regarding politics.  We are all Americans and should be able to work together to achieve common goals.  While both sides do it to a degree, Republicans as illustrated by the Senate health care bill have a tendency to do it more and with greater anger.  See Andrew for examples of the result of constant we/they messaging by the lords of conservatism.

  3. More from the Trump BS-o-Matic generator:

Trump knocks House health care bill as too harsh

Trump has told associates that news coverage of the House health care bill was “terrible,” in the words of one associate who has spoken with him.

Trump threw a party in the Rose Garden celebrating the passage of the House bill and has publicly called it “terrific.”

But aides and associates said he has not liked the news coverage and has shown little interest in what is in the bill — but wants it to be received well.

    Everybody got that?!!?

  4. Beware of Shiny Objects — AHCA warning from David Leonhardt of the NYTimes:

Senate leaders have gone to extraordinary lengths to keep their health care bill secret, and the media has been too accommodating of the secrecy.

The Senate is rushing to pass a health care bill within the next three weeks — a bill that would rewrite the rules for one-sixth of the economy and directly affect tens of millions of Americans. Yet prominent media coverage of the story has slowed to a trickle in recent weeks.

“Why is this barely getting coverage in major news outlets?” Rick Hasen, a legal scholar and political scientist, asked yesterday on Twitter. “One would think real possibility of 23 million people losing health care coverage would warrant page 1 coverage in major papers, networks.”

All along, Republican leaders have gambled that they could get away with operating behind closed doors, knowing that their bill is deeply unpopular. And so far, they are winning that bet.

Some of the most powerful health care groups opposing the bill have responded meekly to the lack of public hearings, as I wrote yesterday, while much of the media has been distracted by shiny objects elsewhere.

      1. It's time for an intervention. Beauregard would benefit bigly by sharing a joint with Willie the next time he plays in Alabama (I’m assuming he’ll soon be returning to Dixie to spend more time with his family).
