  1. Jared Kushner may need to spend more time with his family soon….per Guardian, NY Times. He is the "person of interest" in the Trump campaign / Russia collusion investigation.

So Twoscoops is running out of family members to promote to national security positions.  Hey, Tiffany still doesn't have a job in the White House! What gives?

Incompetence, corruption, and nepotism may be the good news about this administration.

  2. Male masturbation violates sanctity of life, per new Texas bill, the "Man's Right to Know Act", sponsored by Texas legislator Jessica Farrar.

For those who violate the law's provisions, there could be a $100 fine. Any prescription for Viagra would require a rectal exam. Men wishing to get vasectomies would be obligated to read religious tracts and sign off on them.

Hey, at least she's not your legislator, guys. cheeky

        1. PP still has his dogs, though.  Like me, he understands the two rules of life:

          1-Dogs are better than people.

          2-The margin is not close.

  3. Some days the sun does shine.   President Rouhani has won a second term in Iran, a big victory for moderates who support the multi-nation nuclear restriction deal and want to see Iran rejoin the world community.   Obviously, President 0bama deserves credit for his far sighted actions, which were supported by many, though far from all, Jews such as J-Street.  Diplomacy is better than terrorism.  Fortunately, despite his bellicose campaign record, Trumps foreign policy team seems willing to let the accord work.

In honor of all this, I declare a stink-free day in which all Americans can rethink the adage that politics stops at the waters edge.  And while the odds against Trump's mideast peace plan are very long, we can lend our thoughts and prayers to their success.

    1. re: odds on Trump's Mideast peace plan:

Well, Jared did get a seat on the plane, as did his "communication" person. So, if peace breaks out in the Middle East, they will be ready to claim credit and announce it.

      1. Hell, if peace breaks out, I'll let Satan claim credit.  One modest sign, Hamas is moderating a bit.  The experience of acually governing Gaza seems to have given them a taste for power.

"When Jewish blood fills my knife, then my life will be free from strife."

That's the spirit of terrorism today, so it's a long, long, way to go.   But a journey of a thousand miles still begins with a single step.  If Hamas decided to join Fatah in a deal with Israel, I'd let them share power.

  4. Fox News 5 step plan to deflect the damage from #Trumpsterfire:

    1. Attack the story

    i.e. “It’s Fake News!”

    2. Attack the messenger

    “It’s the librul meedja!”

3.Blame the media for covering the story

“Why aren’t they covering important stories like ______?”

    4. Attack Hillary Clinton (and Obama)

    Because it’s a habit.

    5. So What? No big deal.

Let’s watch a kitten singing “Mama Meeow!”

    Rinse. Repeat.

laughSo if you ever wonder where PP, AC , and Moddy are getting their trolling strategies, look no further.

  5. Meanwhile in Iran…(where the hardliner was defeated).

70% voter turnout in Iran's presidential election higher than turnout in any US election since 1900. Election Day national holiday in Iran." ~Ari Berman

Maybe we can send a delegation of Republicans into Tehran and give them a 101 in voter suppression?  Maybe create a Middle Eastern Electoral College?

  6. Outside Washington’s ‘Blazing Inferno,’ Democrats Seek an Agenda

The contrast between what Democrats in Washington are consumed by and what their candidates are running on illustrates an emerging challenge for the party as the president becomes ever more engulfed in controversy: For all the misfortunes facing their foe in the White House, Democrats have yet to devise a coherent message on the policies that President Trump used to draw working-class voters to his campaign.

And at least for now, the voters whom Democrats need to win back are more focused on their own troubles than those of the president.

After a campaign in which they learned the hard way that an anti-Trump message was insufficient, Democrats are again grappling with how to balance responding to Mr. Trump’s apparent transgressions and devising an affirmative policy agenda of their own.

    1. Sorry, but the Democrats are not in control of any message. The legacy media and KOOK left wing cable outlets see to it that extremist activist who have the loudest voice (MJ, Cook, Duke, No name, R&R, Gilpin Guy, Gray Mountain, Pols, Blowman, Dawn Patrol, who have I left out? Not Banger,he's a conservative) drive the message. At best, this gets 20% of the vote. Not enough to beat the Trumpster or Republicans.

  7. I'd really like Pear's take on this:

Saudi Arabia, UAE pledge $100 million to women entrepreneurs fund proposed by Ivanka Trump

I'm not  wasting my time looking up the Republican's criticisms of the Clinton Foundation for accepting money from Middle East nations. They exist. Bigly. Trump was one of those critics (see below).  How about she starts a fund helping women in the USA? What happened to MAGA? Is this the middle finger to Congress?  If I can't cajole you on my terms, me and the kids will take our toys somewhere else?

    Roger Stone chimes in….

    1. Seems to prove yet again that Ivanka has the brain power in that family. I'll leave it to Pear/Prune/Pyrus to comment on The Donald's year old tweet.

If Roger Stone has to puke, hopefully he can aim well enough to miss his pants and shoes.

    2. The Saudis want women to kill gays? Someone needs to give Trump basic grammar lessons in pronouns and direct objects….along with ethics, morality, and American Government.

  8. Anyone catch the walk out at that good Catholic university in South Bend, Indiana, when the state's favorite son got up to speak?

    1. Here's the video from ABC – looks like about 100 altogether walked out on Pence.
