1. Trump and his Trolls:

   Dear Mr. So-Called President:

   So let me explain to you how this works.

   You were elected as chief executive of the United States. I won’t belabor the fact that you won with a minority of the popular vote and a little help from your friends, FBI Director James Comey and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The bottom line is, you were elected.

   And this does entitle you to certain things. You get your own airplane. You get free public housing. You get greeted with snappy salutes. And a band plays when you walk into the room.

   But there is one thing to which your election does not entitle you. It does not entitle you to do whatever pops into your furry orange head without being called on it or, should it run afoul of the Constitution, without being blocked…………..

   Suck it dry, Andrew Carnegie, if you can deplane Putin, from a most intelligent Black Man who enjoys our 1st Amendment's freedoms, rather than the mortal abuses of it that you concoct.

3. Trump's likely science adviser calls climate scientists 'glassy-eyed cult'

   “There’s a whole area of climate so-called science that is really more like a cult,” Happer told the Guardian. “It’s like Hare Krishna or something like that. They’re glassy-eyed and they chant. It will potentially harm the image of all science.”

4. Should we have a top-line on how many months before Trump gets impeached?

   At some point the Republican Party will realize how toxic he will be to the Republican Brand. 

   Obviously there is a huge contradiction between getting all the goodies out of the cookie jar, vs losing the next election.

5. Democrats bracing for town hall protests directed at them ask Bernie Sanders for help

   Senior Democratic lawmakers on Tuesday sought to stave off town hall protests from their own party, asking Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) to reach out and urge activists to redirect their anger at Republicans instead of at moderate Democratic lawmakers.

   The request came in a weekly meeting of top Democratic senators, according to a senator in attendance, ahead of a congressional recess next week when lawmakers in both parties are expected to face large crowds stirred in recent weeks by President Trump’s early executive actions and ongoing Republican attempts to revamp the Affordable Care Act.

   1. I fail to see why Sanders should help moderate Democrats deflect people who want health care or to make Democrats accountable for their squishy "yes" votes on Trump cabinet nominees.

      Let them take their own damn well-deserved heat. Right, Zappy?
