Longest is easy — Harrison, who delivered almost a 2 hour stemwinder in a snow storm, caught pneumonia, and died shortly after.
I'd have to Google to find the shortest …. I'd guess Lincoln's Second, but wouldn't be surprised if one of the early Presidents beat it.
Ditto on Harrison for longest. I've read Lincoln's second so I know its pretty short (like 5 minutes)
Longest was William Henry Harrison.
Shortest was George Washington.
Franklin Pierce was the only president to give his from memory with no notes.
